Sell on Houzz – Learn MoreWhat bathroom vanity mirror works best for me?Do you need a bathroom wall mirror to double as storage with a medicine cabinet, or are you looking for something more decorative? Your needs may change depending on which bathroom you’re looking to outfit. Is it the master bath, which will get a lot of use from two people, or a guest bathroom, used only on occasion? Powder room mirrors can typically be more decorative since you don’t need to stash toiletries behind them. Draw on these factors as a guide to help you make a decision. What style should my bathroom mirrors be?If you have a contemporary bathroom, consider sleek square bath mirrors or a ones with stainless steel frames — or no frame at all. If you’re going for a more eclectic look, add a mirrored face to an antique piece or choose a vintage-style Venetian option. Your walls should also help dictate your choice: are they tiled or painted? Paneled or wallpapered? Depending on your design style, your bathroom vanity mirrors can offer a bold contrast, or complement an already-there pattern or hue. What size bathroom vanity mirrors should I consider? Mirrors for bathrooms should be based both on preference and available space. Generally, the larger the better, particularly if you have a double vanity with a shared vanity mirror. This is also true for small spaces — if you have a tiny bathroom, a large, shiny surface will make the space seem larger and reflect more light. The size of your bathroom wall mirrors can also help reinforce style; if you have a smaller, more traditional vanity, you may prefer the look of a decorative option no wider than the sink. The key is to strike the balance with the bathroom vanity mirrors and their surrounding elements, while also achieving the function you desire. Should I buy a lighted bathroom mirror?Lighted bathroom mirrors are great because they don’t require you to compromise on lighting. Overhead lighting can create shadows, so side-lit vanity mirrors provide even distribution of light. For a trendier version of the side-lit approach, try backlit bath mirrors — they are more contemporary, offer plenty of sunshine, and make for an interesting focal point in an otherwise boring space.

Better than anything we've been looking forRating: We are finishing our basement and needed a bathroom vanity that was 36 to 48 inches and we were wanting one larger to fit the area better. *** didn't have the correct size or if they did were *** for basic cabinets ONLY (no top, sink, mirror, hardware, and had only 2 drawers.) So for what you are paying for this is an amazing deal. It is a very dark espresso (nearly black) so keep that in mind. This is definitely the highlight of the bathroom. Only negative is we have to angle cut the baseboards so that it can fit flush to the walls with the metal footies. show more

As PicturedRating: The vanity arrived assembled (except for the sink, faucet and plumbing). It looks like it is pictured. Nice soft close drawers and the mirror has a clever mounting block that you level and secure to the wall, then simply hang the mirror. The only reason this vanity does not get five stars is because the white top on the side cabinet is off colored. It has a green cast and is not as pure white as the sink material. We also ordered the 84″ double sink vanity so hopefully it does not have the same problem.show more
